Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and mop provide the convenience of cleaning both dry debris (dust dirt) and wet mess (spills, stains) in one go without having to swap out devices. They can also save space when compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot will provide excellent navigation and obstacles avoidance. Look for models with docks that allow them to automatically empty their bins, replenish their water tanks, and wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's among the easiest robots to install that we've tested. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and an easy-to-follow guide will have you up and running with a clean and complete dust bag, a hard floor solution and water tank in a matter of minutes.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at fast speeds and exert 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, making short work of pet hair, dirt, and dried sticky spills. The vacuum cleaner has four power settings, a variety of brushes and attachments, and an intuitive app which lets you select the type of cleaning you'd like for each room.
For instance, you can opt for the robot to clean up the kitchen and living rooms but take it easy in the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and smart navigation tech are superb, with the robot being capable of detecting tiny obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. The only drawback is that it is known to smash into walls and objects at a high speed. However an inspection of the cleaning history on the app will show you precisely what the robot has done, where it is moving, and what obstacles it has encountered or avoided.
automated vacuum cleaner docking station comes with a handy LCD screen that shows the need for maintenance for cleaning up debris and washing the water tank that is dirty. It is also able to mix detergent into the water tank in a controlled manner by using a 600ml eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long running time. The mop can operate for 184 mins in Quiet Mode and the vacuum can run for 136 minutes in normal mode, prior to having to recharge or returning to the base. The app is simple to use and intuitive and lets you see every aspect of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's most popular robot mop and vacuum, is the most recent version. Unlike last year's model it comes with an agitator that doubles in its mopping pad, which greatly improves carpet cleaning abilities. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction power that allows it to pull up smaller hairs and other particles other robotic cleaners could miss.
The Roborock model, like the other two models I tested, has infrared and reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology to help it avoid obstacles such as furniture, walls and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further by incorporating a dual-camera that can identify objects, determining whether they're walls or other surfaces. It is able to change its direction automatically and clean around them without missing a step.
It's the most expensive of the three models I've examined, but it's also loaded with features. Its sleek and angular design is attractive and it only has three physical buttons: the power button, which also resumes cleaning; a mop button that doubles as a child lock; and a home button that can return the robot to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml trash bin and 200ml of water tank. The water tank self-empties and the bin auto-filling.
The only downside I've found with this model is that the VibraRise mop pad mount isn't removable. You can change the mopping cloth if required, but it's a challenge to remove the mount for manual washing. I've observed that any carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mount, which can cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a variety of smart features that include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. You can configure and manage these through the Roborock app which is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app lets you schedule cleanings and monitor the battery's life. But you'll need to jump through a few hurdles to enable voice control with this model, which is a shame considering the quality of its performance.

3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop with outstanding suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and ingenuity features. Its intelligent design allows users to tailor and effectively clean while reducing time.
The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first to feature 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is one of the most powerful options available. This powerful vacuum cleans up dry debris, including pet hair and crumbs. It comes with a mop that is excellent quality that can clean hard floors without the need for a pad. The X40 is also very quiet in operation, with only occasional bursts during modes changes or self-maintenance.
Another standout characteristic is the X40's extendable and liftable side brush which allows it to get into difficult-to-access corners and clean furniture, such as tables and chair legs. It can also get under furniture that is low-profile which makes it an ideal option for smaller apartments or condos. The side brush automatically tilts down when it spots wet spots. This is a great feature that enables the X40 to prevent damage to floors from the frequent back-and-forth movement.
In contrast to other robots that solely focus on one task, the X40 can perform both vacuuming and mopping at the same time or individually. It can be programmed to only mop the hard floors, and skip carpeted areas, or reverse the process. It can be controlled using the Dreame app or with Alexa, Siri, and Google Home to ensure a smooth voice-controlled operation.
robot vacuums cheap is easy to use and understand and the X40 has many smart features that are easy to set up. Users can program the X40 for cleaning at specific times. It can also be adjusted to adjust suction power, switch modes, look at floor plans and maps and manage mopping setting. The X40 can also track its progress and inform you when it's finished.
The X40 is easy to clean and has numerous convenient features, making it a perfect option for busy families. The docking station can automatically empty the dustbin, and clean mop pads before refilling them with cleaning solution and fresh water. It also can detect when the mop pad is full and alert you before it overflows, reducing the requirement for manual maintenance.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available. It has many features that make it stand out. Its mops have a new feature called Smart DuoScrub that uses two high-speed mops to scrub floors more thoroughly than the conventional method, and has a high maximum suction power of 7,000Pa. This is much higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can vacuum up pet hair and smaller dirt particles and also pick up spills and wet spots.
The mop is cleaned and dried in the base station each time they are used. This is an excellent feature since it prevents the growth of mould and unpleasant odours in storage, and it also makes mop systems more efficient. It's a system that we haven't yet seen on other robot vacuum and mop models and could be a good method to keep your home clean for longer.
There are plenty of options, including the option to schedule cleaning times and adjust preferences. These can be set via the app or buttons that can be found on the device itself. The app is easy to use and provides a number of options for customizing your cleaning routine. It also offers many functions that are not available on other robots, for instance the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction when it detects dust particles.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a white-and-metallic finish that looks elegant and elegant. It's a little heavier than the other two-in-one robots on this list, at 4kg - but it's not obscenely heavy, and is sturdy and well-built. Mopping is also well-designed, and the double rotating mop is great for hard floors as well as in corners. They can even reach down to 2mm of baseboards due to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice addition.
